ABOUT

Project Save is an independent public awareness initiative focused on helping people understand prostate cancer, the PSA blood test and the importance of making informed decisions about their health.

Our purpose is simple: to encourage awareness before symptoms appear, help people understand their individual risk, and encourage informed conversations with their GP about PSA testing.

Project Save does not replace your GP, cancer specialists or established cancer organisations. Our role is to raise awareness, encourage informed conversations and help people find trusted information and support.

➢ Why Project Save Began

Project Save grew from personal experience of prostate cancer and a simple realisation: too many people know too little about prostate health, their individual risk and the PSA blood test until it becomes personally relevant to them.

➢ The People Behind Project Save

Project Save was co-founded by Roy & Linda R following their own experience of prostate cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery. Together. they recognised how much difference clear, accessible information and earlier awareness could make to individuals and families.

Project Save is not about us. It is about everyone we may be able to reach – individuals, partners, families and communities – and helping more people make informed decisions about their health.

➢ Our Principles

Project Save is independent, non-commercial and focused on public awareness. We do not fundraise, sell products or provide medical advice.

We aim to provide clear, balanced information, signpost people to trusted expert sources and encourage everyone to discuss their individual circumstances with an appropriate healthcare professional.

➢ Our Aim

Our long-term aim is simple: to help more people become aware of prostate cancer risk earlier, understand the choices available to them and take an active role in protecting their health.

Every informed conversation matters, every person reached matters. and if greater awareness’ helps save even one life, Project Save has made a difference.
